This week has been all about reflecting and celebrating my second novel.

It’s still hard to believe that one year ago I was launching What the Sea Brings into the world. The book that was swiftly rejected by agents in a time when querying was slow, the book that I intentionally shelved to protect my joy, the book that was deemed ‘too quiet’. 

After many years of writing, sitting on a shelf, and then ultimately releasing as my second novel, What the Sea Brings arrived precisely when it needed too.

From glowing Kirkus Reviews, to receiving photos of happy kids on the beach with their copies, it’s been a wonderful year. I’m so delighted by how this book has been received by readers and excited to see how it continues to flourish in your capable hands and hearts.
